The 62nd Britannia Filmfare Awards 2014 saw the who’s who of the South Industry setting the venue, Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai, on fire. The young Turks mingled with the old guard and the friendship and the camaraderie across the age and the language divide was a sight to behold indeed. Power-packed performances and inspired hosting was the perfect foil to the winner parade. The grandeur as well as the emotional high made it a night to remember indeed.
Singer Chinmayi and her actor husband Rahul were the perfect emcees and kept the audience on its toes with their ready wit and repartee while a bevy of beauty comprising Meghana Gaonkar, Pranitha, Tamannaah, Parul Yadav, Nikki Galrani, Poorna and Taapsee Pannu regaled with their picture perfect dance moves.
