Mumbai: The All India Association of Industries (AIAI) will be leading a delegation to participate in the VIII International IT Forum scheduled from 8-9 June 2016 at Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. The Forum will be attended by heads of federal and regional authorities, bodies of local self-government, representatives of businesses, professional public associations, academic, educational and expert community, leading international experts in the field of IT development, including participants from BRICS and SCO countries.
The organizers of the Forum are the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra and the Tomsk Region Administration.
The year 2016 edition of the Forum will allow to make a list of joint measures aiming to ensure sustainable social and economic growth, to intensify trade and economic and investment activity, develop cooperation in high-tech industries, improve ICT and other infrastructure, enhance economic competitiveness, living standards and life quality in BRICS and SCO member-states.
Special attention will be focused on the introduction of innovative technologies in the field of IT, including the development of technology parks for children, whose mission is to be resource strongholds implementing additional education programs.
The Forum’s panel discussions and round tables will also discuss the development of electronic government, IT solutions for public sector; the use of information and communication technologies in healthcare, education, culture, subsoil use; the practical application of the achievements of space activity for the development of regions and whole countries; innovative and investment technologies in the development of IT business, health and safety.
The Forum is expected to feature its traditional IT trade show displaying cutting-edge achievements in the field of information and communication technologies.
