Art Journaling combines the written word and visual imagery to improve self-expression. Art journaling is about expression of emotions and thoughts;a safe container for emotions.
Many people want to express themselves creatively through visual journaling, but are stuck or intimidated with how to get started, what to write, or how to move beyond gluing down a few images or putting some paint on paper.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to use different media such as paint, photographs, and collage, while following journaling prompts and exercises to help them dig deeper and enrich the journaling process and experience. Get introduced to journaling and after a regular practice, participants will notice a significant difference in their emotional wellbeing.
Participants will learn about art journaling, how they can use that as a daily creative practice and document their daily memories and emotions.
Participants may carry some personal items like stickers, postcards or any small things of sentimental value that they’d like to add to their journals.
