Life Assist allows customers to instantly update their profile, including contact number, address, Aadhaar, PAN and bank details, know claim status, change nominee, top-up premiums, choose riders, revive lapsed policies, access policy statements, switch funds and avail several other policy servicing features.
In addition to these, customers can access life insurance calculators and monitor the company’s fund performance for making informed investment decisions. All these services will be authenticated via an OTP, sent on the customer’s registered mobile number, thus safeguarding all customer information.
With Life Assist and its virtual branch experience, customers can access the entire suite of services that are available at regular branches. This feature is expected to be beneficial to all Bajaj Allianz Life’s customers, who would otherwise have spent their valuable time at the company’s branches over queries, premium payments, claim settlements, etc. Also, this platform offers customers round-the-clock access to the company’s services, thus, reducing any delay in turnaround time.

A recent noteworthy digital initiative includes BOING, a 24X7 virtual chat assistant, that instantly responds to customer queries and assists them with an entire range of services such as obtaining IT certificates, procuring account statements, paying renewal premiums, checking claims status, locating branches, SMS service assistance for updating mobile number, email ID, fund value, contact details for service-related queries and much more.
Since its launch on July 1, 2017, BOING has seen more than 27,000 unique visitors. Of the various activities BOING was engaged in, issuing account statements was the most popular. It has issued over 66,000 account statements in the four-month period. BOING has also assisted with 9,000 renewal payments, provided 4,000 IT certificates, shared claims status of more than 3,000 life insurance policies, and helped 5,000 visitors calculate premium for Bajaj Allianz Life eTouch Online Term Plan.
