Mumbai: In yet another trouble Bollywood star Salman Khan and his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is in the news for the wrong reason.
Reportedly, the actor along with director have been slapped with legal notice by a social activist.
The notice has been sent for hurting sentiments of the people who profess deep faith in Hindu religion. These people have opposed the title and some scenes of the film. Salman khan gets legal notice.
According to a report in the Hindi daily, a social activist from Chitrakoot, UP has sent a legal notice to Jaishree production company, film actor Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan. The activist named Anil Singh Pradhan has demanded that the title and obnoxious scenes of the film must be changed.
The notice says that Bajrangi stands for Hindu god and it can’t be linked with Bhaijan. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is wrong title and is hurting Hindus’ sentiments.
It is being accused that in one of the scenes a co-actor was seen dancing with Hanuman mask. Hindus are being ridiculed upon by such scenes, notice writes.
Another allegation is that the film director-producer is deliberately releasing the film on the occasion of Eid.
Reportedly, the social activist has threatened that if title and some scenes were not changed then he will have to take further legal action over the matter.
