Indore: Thousands of students from various city schools took part In a mega Constitution awareness examination organized by Shree Sadguru Datta Dharmik Evam Parmarthik Trust under patronage of spiritual leader Shri Bhaiyyuji Maharaj here on Saturday. Saturday was the first day of mega Constitution Awareness examination campaign and it will continue in various city schools till January 26.
Since early Saturday morning, school students appeared to be quiet upbeat to take part in the Constitution awareness examination which was organized today in two sessions.
Volunteers of Shree Sadguru Datta Dharmik Evam Parmarthik Trust in coordination with managements of various city schools conducted the examination peacefully.
Prior to holding examination, school students had already been distributed Constitution awareness booklets so that students can acquire knowledge about India’s Constitution before appearing for the examination. All those students who will be appearing the Constitution awareness examination will be given away certificates by the Trust, while those securing first, second and third positions will be given away cash prizes by the Trust, besides certificates of appreciation.
This year, the Trust has set a target to allow 50,000 students from Indore and other parts of Madhya Pradesh to take part in the Constitution awareness examination.
Sharad R Pawar, chairman, Shree Sadguru Datta Dharmik Evam Parmarthik Trust said the Constitution awareness campaign which was started by the Trust years back under inspiration from spiritual leader Shri Bhaiyyuji Maharaj, has met with huge response from school students with every year thousands of students from both government and private schools in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra taking part in the examination.
He said the main objective behind organizing Constitution awareness examination among school students is to make them aware of India’s Constitution, their fundamental rights so as to enable them to become responsible citizens of the country.
On the eve of Republic Day, every year our Trust organizes Constitution awareness examination in various parts of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra wherein thousands of students take part, Pawar said adding that since the beginning of Constitution awareness campaign, over 20 lakh students in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra have appeared in the Constitution awareness examination.
