Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja’s forthcoming movie “Bruce Lee: The Fighter” has completed Censor Board formalities and is now gearing up for a grand release on 16 October.
“Bruce Lee: The Fighter” is one of the big ticket Telugu movies of 2015. The movie has hogged the limelight for good reasons. The movie has been produced by DVV Danayya under his home banner. The makers held a special screening of the movie for the officials of the Censor Board on 12 October.
After watching the film, the officials awarded a U/A certificate for “Bruce Lee: The Fighter”. They were all praise for its production team for the brilliant output. Sources from the Board claim Srinu Vaitla’s direction, Ram Charan and Rakul Preet’s performances were lauded.
On the official Twitter page of DVV Entertainments, the producer confirmed the news about the Censor certification and the release date of “Bruce Lee: The Fighter”. He tweeted, “Its U/A for #BruceLeeTheFighter , Our Fighter gonna hit theaters on 16th October #BruceLeeResoundsOnOct16.”
“Bruce Lee: The Fighter” is an action film with a good dose of romance and comedy. Kona Venkat and Gopimohan have written the script and dialogues, while Vaitla himself has penned the screenplay. As per the buzz on Twitter, the story revolves around a pen drive and Ram Charan is a cop, which is revealed in the climax. The first half of the movie is very entertaining.
Rakul Preet Singh plays the heroine, while Kriti Kharbanda appears as the second female lead in “Bruce Lee: The Fighter”, which marks the debut of Arun Vijay in Tollywood. Megastar Chiranjeevi is seen in a cameo appearance in the film, which features Brahmanandam, Sampath Raj, Nadhiya, Saptagiri, Tisca Chopra, Brahmaji, Mukesh Rishi, Posani Krishna Murali and Rao Ramesh in supporting cast.
S Thaman has composed music for the soundtracks and background score for the movie, which has the cinematography of Manoj Paramahamsa. A couple of the compositions have become chartbusters. The movie is scheduled to be released in over 2000 cinema halls around the world this Friday. It is expected to be the next big money spinner after “Baahubali” and “Srimathudu”.
