CNN decided to cut ties with the religious scholar, Reza Aslan after vulgar Anti-Trump Tweets, last week.
“CNN has decided to not move forward with production on the acquired series ‘Believer with Reza Aslan,’” the network said in a statement. They further remarked that, “We are pleased that he has apologized for his tweets. That kind of discourse is never appropriate.”
Just a few months back, USINPAC issued a statement urging CNN to stop the show, Believer with Reza Aslan as it portrayed Hinduism in a negative light. The show characterized Hinduism as cannibalistic, which is a bizarre way of looking at the third largest religion in the world.
