Mumbai: Dr. Huz (Dr Huzaifa Khorakiwala), CEO and Trustee, Wockhardt Foundation a national, not-for-profit organization engaged in social service and human welfare activities recently addressed nearly 25000 tribal students from secondary school till post graduation on Life, Love and Leadership at the world’s largest tribal school in Bhubaneshwar.
Dr. Huz addressed mammoth gathering of indigenous children in Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), which is world’s largest fully free residential school for tribal children.
Dr. Huz who is also the founder of The World Peacekeepers Movement – an online campaign through a most popular social networking site, which has millions of followers from across the globe elaborated the significance of following seven peace values including Gratitude, Forgiveness, Love, Humility, Giving, Patience and Truth.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr Huz emphasized on the importance of love and compassion towards each other. He also spoke on communication mantras that one needs to imbibe to be a good leader. Wockhardt Foundation through its various initiatives has impacted 202.07 lives. Dr Huz remarked, “Our aim is to reach out to every nook and corner of the country and educate people on various aspects of life. We want to improve the overall quality of life of the people.
Dr. Huz appreciated the efforts of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KISS and asked for replication of KISS model. He added, “Dr. Samanta’s story is a living legend and there is lot to be learnt from his struggle story. It is unbelievable what he has created and this is for the first time I am addressing an audience of 25, 000 tribal children at one spot,” he said.
He added that Dr. Samanta has been relentlessly working for the upliftment of poorest of the poor indigenous community in Odisha for the last two and a half decades. His passion led him to establish Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), a fully free residential institute for 25,000 tribal children. KISS, Bhubaneswar also provides KG to PG free schooling to these children and these children have made landmark achievements over the year.
