With this launch, Foyr has brought together more than 50+ local brands and more than 2500 product listings on a single platform for Puneites. A one stop solution for all home décor needs, Foyr.com and the Foyr Android app aims to empower its users to design their homes at no cost. With the Pune launch, Foyr has doubled its local presence and it aims to be live in 10 Indian cities in the next 18 months.
On Foyr, users can create stunning room interiors in less than 10 mins using templates created by top architects and instantly adapt these templates to their room dimensions and personalize it to their preferencesusing Foyr’s proprietary interactive 3D technology. Each furniture item or service used in the design template or listed otherwise on Foyr is tagged to one or more local city stores. Users can discover and buy home decor products from these local stores or get connected to a turnkey contractor for implementing the complete design. The same experience powered by a “See in your room” feature is also available on Foyr’s Android app.

Foyr looks to tap into the Pune market; 60% ofwhich largely constitutes people between the 24-35 age groups. With the next-gen opting for designer homes but unaware of the places to source the elements from, Foyr addresses this need-gap by collaborating with a network of local stores to provide a platform of curated yet affordable home décor items. With Foyr, users have the liberty to visually try before buying the furniture and interiors offline from local stores.
According to a Technopak survey, the market size for home decor (furniture and hard furnishings) in India has been estimated to reach at $30 billion by 2020 from the present $20 billion. With the unorganized sector constituting 85% of this share, Foyr.com looks to make inroads into this segment and make interior designing organized and within the reach of the common man.
