On the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th March 2018, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducted a free health check up and treatment campaign at Susgaon in collaboration with SCOPE- Symbiosis Community Outreach and Execution , SCHC -Symbiosis Centre of Health Care, SIMS – Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Kirkee and Sus Gram panchayat. Specialist Doctors were available for consultation and free medicines were distributed. Each male patient was offered first aid box and each female patient was offered sanitary napkins with the first aid box and children were offered school kits and first aid box too.
Sabhapati Mrs Komal Sakhare, Deputy Sabhapati Pandurang Ozarkar, Ha. Bh. Pa.Krushnaji Maharaj Chandere, Ex Sabhapati Mr Balasaheb Chandere, NCP Chief Mulsi Tehsil Mr Sunil Khandare, Sarpanch Mrs Apoorva Amit Nikalaje, Ex Sarpanch Narayan Chandere, Mr Amit Nikalje, Gramsevak Mr Anil Fulpagar, Mr Ganesh Salunke, Mr Mangesh Chandere cooperated this event.
Col Dr Jayalakshmi, Head, SCOPE and all staff members were present for the whole event.
Total 387 patients were screened by above specialists and every patient was offered first aid box, sanitary napkins and school stationary.
Commonly noticed disorders were cough , cold, body ache, joint pains, loss of appetite, hypo pigmented patches in students, irregular menses, dysmenorrhea, ,leucorrhoea, etc.
Free Drug supply was done to the patients prescribed by doctors during the campaign.
On the request of the Sarpanch and Gram Panchayat , Dr Narhe and his staff from Susgaon came and conducted free Haemoglobin Check up .
On the request of the Sarpanch and Gram Panchayat , Fit for Life Wellness Center, Sus , Mrs Gita Shikare checked Height, Weight and BMI of the participants and advise provided for the improvement.
Treatment and advice given to lady patients who had Gynaec problems.
The Free health check up campaign went on for the whole day starting from 9am. Only after sunset it was called off.
