The much-awaited fourth edition of the Hero Indian Super League is all set to kick off on November 17, 2017, when defending champions ATK take on the mighty Kerala Blasters FC at the yellow den. Pulses are already pumping in anticipation of the sea of yellow flooding the stadium to cheer their team and the opening ceremony is set to add further flavour to the occasion where more than 350 artists will perform.
The opening ceremony of the league will witness the Sultan of Bollywood, Salman Khan perform to some of his most popular numbers. Salman will be making a blockbuster entry on a bicycle and accompanying him on stage will be Katrina Kaif. The duo’s performance is expected to set the temperatures soaring.
Kerala Blasters FC will be represented by their captain along with cricket icon and co-owner Sachin Tendulkar while the visiting team captain will bring the trophy back for the competition.
The opening ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m., while the deferred live on TV will be from 7:15 p.m. onwards. Gates at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium will open for fans at 3:30 p.m. sharp as Kochi welcomes the football journey for the next four months.
The first match of Hero ISL Season 4 between last year’s finalists Kerala Blasters FC and ATK will kick-off at 8:00 p.m. It promises to be a cracking encounter as the Men in Yellow look to set the record straight against arch-rivals ATK in front of arguably the country’s most enthusiastic fans.
