Pune, February 2017 : Nature is a perfect way to recharge one’s soul. Attractive colours, shapes, textures, and patterns are all around in nature. Taking inspiration from nature gives a fresh perspective on design. Fashion is an artwork in itself. Observing nature enables a designer to incorporate new elements into their designs and the Annual Fashion Show of INIFD DECAN, PUNE- IVANA 2017, The Nature Artistry did their best to justify the above statements. The entire event was hosted by Head of Department Fashion Design and Chief Mentor Ms.Shamika Pradhan, Senior Faculties and Mentors Mrs.Rupali Dhore, Mrs.Geetika Awasthi, Ms.Shital Nile, Mrs.Vrushali Kadam, Mrs.Pallavi Raskar and Mrs.Gunja Karamchandani along with the Center Head Mrs.Varsha Chandwani and Director of INIFD DECCAN Mr. Ashok Daryani.
The stars for the evening were the Chief Guests, famous Bollywood Fashion Stylist Moet Brar and Mrs. India Earth 2016 Prineet Grewal. Fashion Designer Ms.AnishaVaswani, Label name-Aniva and Fashion Designer Ms. Jaya Jain, Owner of Style Diva were the members of the Jury.
The Nature Artistry consisted of around 53 participants and 6 themes in total: Birds Paradise, Aquatic Mosaic, Iconic Dessert, Flora Kaleidoscope, Volcanic Soul and Gothic Garden. The humongous crowd was mesmerised by the beauty of the showstopper Alesia Raut. All the student designers from all the themes walked the ramp very proudly side by side with the models wearing their garments. Students, by the end of the event, were rewarded with Medals and Certificates for the titles such as Best Garment, Best Accessories, Best Finishing, Most Innovative, Jury’s Favourite and many more.
