Los Angeles: Actress Kerry Washington says she is still learning the ropes of motherhood.
The 38-year-old “Django Unchained” star said motherhood changed her life dramatically but beautifully, reported Entertainment Tonight online.
Washington welcomed her first child, daughter Isabelle Amarachi, in April 2014.
“You know it just turns your world upside down in the most beautiful way. She makes me better, I hope, every day. I feel very lucky to be her mom,” she said.
Giving advice to new mothers the “Night Catches Us” actress said one should stay honest and open.
“I just think it’s really important to share. It’s really useful when, as moms, we can be honest about our process because it’s so challenging. I really love being a part of this community of moms in the world now, where we get to share our experience in this magical adventure.
