Bangalore: Landmark Group, the Middle East’s leading retail and hospitality conglomerate, has launched E-commerce sites and apps for Home Centre, the popular furniture and household brand in India. Customers can now shop over 4,000 products either on HomeCentre.com or by simply downloading the Home Centre Android or iPhone app. This launch is another big step in the Group’s commitment to providing its millions of customers with a simple, convenient and customer-friendly multi-channel experience.

India’s first brick-and-mortar Home Centre store was launched in Gurgaon in 2005 and today, the brand has expanded its reach to 33 stores across the country. With the new sites and apps, customers now have a whole new way to engage and shop from the comfort of their home or on-the-go. This online launch comes at a time when the Indian home and furnishings market is burgeoning.

Home Centre online shoppers can enjoy an innovative feature, Scheduled Furniture Deliveries, which allows them to select a convenient delivery date and time from a list of available options. Scheduled Deliveries currently accounts for over 75% of Home Centre’s online orders in the UAE.
Home Centre also offers the Cash on Delivery option for its furniture. Customers can enjoy this benefit on orders up to Rs. 25,000 at one go.
Other customer-friendly features include Favourites, 1-click shopping with FastPay and a choice of payment options including cash, card, Rupay Debit Cards, NetBanking covering over 56 major banks and mobile wallets such as Paytm, MobiKwik or JioMoney.
As millions of Home Centre customers are members of the group’s popular loyalty programme, Landmark Rewards, the sites and apps will offer them the facility to earn and spend Landmark Rewards points for instant savings.
Online customers of Lifestyle and Max can enjoy the convenience of adding their purchases from Home Centre, Lifestyle and Max into one universal basket and completing their shopping in a single checkout. They can use their existing password and username for all three sites.
The Landmark Group’s foray into E-commerce in India began in January 2016 with LandmarkShops.in, which was replaced by two separate brand sites and apps for Lifestyle and Max in January 2017. Over the next three years, the company aims to grow its E-commerce business significantly, through continued focus on innovation, by actively rolling out new features and improvements and by strengthening its omni-channel commitment.
