TO SOLVE SKINCARE DESPAIR FOR TRAVELLERS
New Global Amenity Programme Combines an Apothecary Sensibility with Signature Bath Essentials … for Men and Women
NEW YORK – November 30, 2016 – Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR), today introduced a new bath amenity programme with globally sought-after skincare brand MALIN + GOETZ. This partnership marks the first time that MALIN + GOETZ is partnering globally with a hotel brand, bringing a suite of amenities to more than 100 hotels and resorts by early 2017. With a shared passion for design and discovery, MALIN + GOETZ is the perfect partner for Le Méridien, the Parisian-born hospitality brand known to unlock destinations for creative and curious-minded travellers around the world.
MALIN + GOETZ unisex bath essentials were chosen specifically for Le Méridien, with evocative ingredients and effective formulations that complement any skin and hair care regimen while on the road. The amenity kits will be offered in all guestrooms and suites and will include MALIN + GOETZ signature sage body wash, peppermint shampoo, cilantro hair conditioner, lime bar soap, and vitamin b5 body moisturizer in travel-friendly sizes.
“Our exclusive global partnership with MALIN + GOETZ is the newest touch point that enhances our guest experience and our commitment to bring each destination to life through local cuisine, culture and design nuances,” said Brian Povinelli, Global Brand Leader, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts. ”We are thrilled that Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz share that commitment and are as passionate about design and discovery as our brand, and you can see it in the details of their products and customer experience.”
“Le Méridien’s promise to unlock destinations for their guests perfectly complements our brand’s ability to stimulate their senses,” said Andrew Goetz, MALIN + GOETZ, Co-Founder. “Scent has the unique ability to evoke memories and transport us to a different time and place, which makes MALIN + GOETZ the perfect travel companion for Le Méridien,” added Matthew Malin, Co-Founder.
As Le Méridien continues to invest in its growing global portfolio with a robust pipeline and renovations in gateways around the world, the new bath amenity programme will be available in-room at properties worldwide. This partnership also marks the global expansion of MALIN + GOETZ, as the brand recently opened two stores this year in London and prepares to open a store in Hong Kong early next year.
