Learn the Fundamentals of SBIR/STTR Funding
Attend “The ABC’s of SBIR/STTR Funding”This free, two-hour program on September 30 from 8:30 am – 11:00 am will cover the basics of the government’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs and help participants determine whether or not they should pursue this compelling source of non-dilutive funding.
An initiative of the NYCEDC and the City of New York, SBIR Impact NYC is designed to enhance the competitiveness of SBIR/STTR proposals among NYC-based life sciences and healthcare technology companies. Through the SBIR/STTR programs, 11 federal agencies award over $2.6 billion in non-dilutive grants and contracts annually, providing critical early-stage funding for R7D in a small business setting.
