New Delhi, 11th August 2017 : A delegation of Sangam Vihar residents led by BJP Ex MLA Vijay Jolly today met Anil Baijal, Delhi Lt. Governor at Raj Niwas on the issue of Sangam Vihar poor civic amenities, woes & suggested possible solutions.
Sangam Vihar the largest un- authorized residential colony in South Delhi is in-daunted by severe inhuman civic conditions conveyed BJP leader Jolly to Anil Baijal.
Issues related to regular water logging on Ratia Marg & Mangal Bazaar road, broken centre verge & pullia’s on main bazaar roads, encroachment by Sangam Vihar Police Station malkhana on public road, abandoned DDA Park with no greenery/ no pathways, no lights & fountains etc were raised with the Lt. Governor.
Build “multi- level- car parking facility” on adjacent & abandoned DDA ground next to Sangam Vihar Police Station demanded BJP leader Mr. Jolly.
Depute Traffic Police personnel during morning & evening peak rush hours to regulate erratic traffic on Ratia Marg, Mangal Bazaar Road & on Tigri- Deoli crossings in South Delhi pleaded Jolly with Lt. Governor.
Four memorandums accompanied by pictures clicked by Mr. Jolly of Sangam Vihar problems were submitted to the Lt. Governor.
A video clip of heavy regular rain & drain water logging in Sangam Vihar were shown to the Lt. Governor by Vijay Jolly .
Anil Baijal Lt. Governor of Delhi assured Sangam Vihar residents – delegation that within a fortnight he would address the genuine issues raised by Mr. Jolly for development of Sangam Vihar.
Prominent delegates of Sangam Vihar Resident Welfare Associations & Vyapar Mandal present were Kamlesh Yadav, Smt. Urmila Mallia, Badri Nath Kaushal, Mahesh Mishra & youth leader Abhisekh Kushwah etc.
