Matawan, NJ–The Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Recreation Commission of the Borough of Matawan will be hosting the annual Matawan Day and Fall Festival on Saturday, October 13th, enabling visitors to experience a variety of food, crafts and entertainment by local restaurants, artisans and musicians from around the community and surrounding towns.
Main Street, Matawan is turned into a spectacular festival in which visitors come to explore the offerings of more than 130 vendors. Several vendors are annual participants at this event and have become favorites among residents and visitors of Matawan Day.
Wonderful food selections, a beer and wine garden, free rides and entertainment are just part of the day’s offerings. Visitors are welcome to stop by any of the local business and non-profit organizations’ tables to learn about their services or stroll by an array of handcrafted merchandise for sale or listen and watch one of several groups performing throughout the day.
The Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce will have an information table listing all the Matawan Day participants, their locations on Main Street, as well as information about future Chamber and Recreation Commission events.
Co-President of the Chamber, Cathy Zavorskas expresses her pride and enthusiasm for the yearly event, “Matawan Day is a wonderful street fair where everyone comes together to celebrate the talents, foods, crafts, businesses, services and organizations of the Matawan community”
The Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce, in its 50th year, proudly continues its legacy to serve its community by bringing its businesses and local residents together for the benefit of each other. Through education, consumerism, marketing opportunities, and fun-filled activities, its staff, members and volunteers continue to strive in connecting and serving more individuals and businesses, new and established, in both Matawan and Aberdeen, and the surrounding community.
