Tri-State Telangana NRIs organized a Meet & Greet with SRI. G.VIVEK, ADVISOR TO TELANGANA GOVERNMENT, INDIA to recognize the efforts and contribution of Vivek. It was held at Royal Alberts Palace, Edison, NJ. Lot of NRIs from all walks of life and from states attended the event to make it a huge success.
Several dignitaries from various organizations attended the event and shared their experience with Vivek as well as his father late G. Venkataswamy who was a very senior leader and minister.
Mr. Vivek spoke about the struggle for Telangana and how effectively the movement was handled and Telangana state was formed. He recalled the struggle and sacrifices under the leadership of Sri KCR, mentioned now we have the state and the focus should be development. He explained about the various developmental activities and projects happening in Telangana. Although there are challenges most of the projects are completed and being completed in time and were designed such a way maximum benefit is achieved for the people.
He patiently answered the questions from the attendees on various issues. He responded positively to the request by the NRIs to have a facilitation platform by Govt. of Telangana to address the needs of NRIs.
