New York: Respected President of USA, & Honorable UN Secretary General:
I’m writing a humble and sincere request to you both, as you are leaders of the two most powerful bodies in the world. Both the US and the UN have addressed many different crises around the world in order to maintain peace and stop human rights violations.
I call upon you and plead you to stop the genocide being carried out against the minority Muslim community in Myanmar under the banner of ethnic cleansing. The world community is watching our lack of intervention, we must stand with and protect the Rohingyan Muslims. We have always been the nation that has been known to protect the weak. We have sent our brave men and women across continents to protect people against various atrocities. The Rohingyan Muslims are looking to us with desperate hope and expectation of the same.
Please take immediate action and put into motion a dialogue with the leaders of Myanmar, place conditions to stop this ongoing genocide and save our fellow human beings- the Rohingyan Muslims.
Many around the world including the American community, are looking at our leaders with the hope that you will do what we have always done best- provide justice and protection for the weak. Please do what you can to stop this crime against humanity.
