The HDFC School in Gurugram which was launched in 2015 has grown steadily ever since and made a mark for itself in just two years. It has strived to ensure that each student receives the highest quality of academic guidance for his/her enriched all-round development.
The HDFC School has started taking admissions from Nursery-Grade V. Intended to be a full Nursery to class XII school in time, the school will follow the National Curriculum Framework 2005, and will be a CBSE affiliated school. The school is aesthetically designed and meticulously planned on about 3 acres. This will enable students to grow in a holistic manner, create an environment for inquisitive, intellectual, innovative minds and instill the joy of learning through cooperation and collaboration.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Deepak Parekh said, “The success of our existing school in Gurugram has encouraged us to launch our new school in Pune. Our key objective is to give back to society and help provide quality education to future generations. This, we believe will enhance productivity in our country. We have one of the youngest populations in the world. For a vast country like India, the best investment one can make is quality education. The public sector allocation for education has rightly increased in the recent period, but there is still a lot of innovation that can be brought into the education space. HDFC will endeavour to create a visible impact on the schooling system.”
Ms. Renu Sud Karnad said, “We are delighted to launch our new school in Pune. We aim to improve the quality of education and empower the students to embrace the challenges of tomorrow by providing an environment that develops life skills and ingrains a sound value system to hold them in good stead for the future. India needs to have an effective education system and our new school seeks to set an example of best practices for education in the country.”
Commenting further she added, “We took some baby steps in 2015 with the launch of our first school in Gurugram and in two years we have built an educational institution that not only provides high quality education, but also empowers students for the journey called ‘Life’”.
