Pune, November 2, 2018: The Central Government programme MSME Support & Outreach has been launched today is for the entrepreneurs and this is one of the initiatives taken by the Modi Government to support MSMEs said Shri Hansaraj Ahir, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs. He also said that this programme is to give boost to Trade and Industries confdance. He was the chief guest of the event.
Mr. Anil Shirole, MP, Mr. Naval Kishor Ram, Collector of Pune and Mr. Datta Doke General Manager Bank of Maharashtra were present at the dais. The function was held today at Ganesh Kala Krida Mandal, Pune. The live telecast of the inaugural ceremony was arranged by the Bank of Maharashtra, District Lead Bank in association with other Banks.
Mr Datta Doke, General Manager Bank of Maharashtra gave the information of the portal www.psbloansin59minutes.com as also he explained its importance to the spectators. The guidance to register and submit proposal, validity period of this initiative taken by the Government was also explained by him. Mr Doke guided to the prospective borrowers about Bank’s relevant products for financial help. He also mentioned about various initiatives taken by the bank in promotion of Government’s schemes e.g. PMEGP, Stand Up India, PMMY etc.
On the occasion, Bank of Maharashtra presented various initiatives taken by the Bank to help the MSME Sector and also various schemes of the Bank for MSME entrepreneurs. Bank also have sanctioned loans proposals in robust manner and taken good initiative for this national cause.
The representatives from BIS, Directorate Gen of Foreign Trade and other Banks have briefed on their offerings to the MSME Sector. The programme aims at creating environment to MSMEs to be on the fast track growth path.
The inaugural ceremony of the programme was held at Vigyan Bhavan and Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed hundreds of MSMEs, entrepreneurs along with the Bankers and other stakeholders through live telecast in 80 different districts.
Mr Sadanand Date, IPS-MH Joint Secretary, Mr S. D. Lokesh, (JD) Foreign Trade were also present for the function.
