Pune: The Artistic Shift, a non-governmental organization of Pune which supports young artists who are trying to make their place in to the world of art. ‘SHIFT’ is an initiative taken up to conserve, promote and support all forms of arts which are getting influenced by globalization and getting extinct. The Artistic Shift donated musical instruments to the children of the Orphanage which is run by Janaseva Foundation of Pune, at Katraj recently. They not only donated instruments but also took the responsibility to train these children by renowned artists. The musical instruments like, Tabla, Harmonium, flute were given away to the children by British Hand Percussionist, Daniel Waples and the Pune based Tabla player Shankar Kuchekar in the presence of Dr. Vinod Shah. Founder,Chairman of Janaseva Foundation,his wife Mrs. Meena Shah, and the directors of The Artistic Shift, Anand Chordia, Hitesh Pagaria, Nilesh Bhansali Sujeet Bhatewara and Vikram Lodha.
