Acknowledging the efforts of the teachers, who are the True Nation Builders, is crucial.
Nation Builder Awards recognises one outstanding teacher from a school through an evaluation process which involves the participation of the Principal/ Head Teacher and 10 students from each school. The purpose behind this exercise is not only to determine the outstanding teacher but also to get data of the low performing teachers who can later be involved in teacher training workshops to help them improve their performance.
This activity falls under the “Teacher Support” vertical of T-E-A-C-H. The Award Function was held on 8th September, the World Literacy Day.
Rotary Club of Pune Inspira focused on outskirts schools of Pune as these schools typically lack awareness & information. 25 schools of Zilla parishad, Government aided and Municipal Corporation were evaluated using the evaluation prices defined by Rotary teach by filling all 3 forms 1.1,2.1,3.1 as per norms.
Based on these forms they selected 25 awardee teachers’ and felicitated them all by the stalwarts like Swami Chaturvediji of Ramanuja Trust Chennai, Sanskrit Acharya Pandit Gadgilji, Padmavibhushan Dr Sancheti ,Lokmat Media Editor Vijayji Baviskar and DG Rtn.Prashant ji Deshmukh and PDG Rtn. Deepakji Shikarpur.
All the evaluated teachers along with awardees were provided 6 hours training workshop followed by award function.
The training focused on personality Development,Communication Skills & Creative and Participative Teaching for the teachers by Bal Govind Prabhuji Vice President of Iskon Pune and Ankita Gupchup M A Linguistics…
