OFBJP: Dubai-Diwali grand success; Great Demand for Indian


New Delhi (Oct 23, 2014): Diwali celebrations program in Dubai, United Arab Emirates recently was a grand success claimed Global Convenor BJP Overseas Affairs Mr Vijay Jolly. The program organised at Indian Consulate auditorium in Dubai was attended by nearly 1200 NRIs & PIOs. 144 Clay Diya’s were lighted to mark the good governance of PM Narendra Modi.

Union Minister for Human Resource & Development Smt. Smriti Z. Irani addressed the Dubai-Diwali audience via google hangout direct from New Delhi. Smriti Irani in her address congratulated Overseas Friends of BJP for its motivational zeal and enthusiasm for spreading the message of BJP Worldwide. The good governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, empowering the under privileged resulting in 7 crore bank accounts, ushering in labour and land reforms has endeared the BJP to the masses. Flow of FDI and infrastructure development shall result in social change soon in India. ‘Sabka Sath aur Sabka Vikas’ slogan of Narendra Modiji led Indian Govt. has caught the imagination of the younger generation in India. And they are the hope of our govt. and corruption free India. We urge Overseas Indians to work hard and with dedication in the country of their employment & adoption. And we shall empower you with good governance.   

OFBJP leader Vijay Jolly visited Gurunanak Darbar Gurdwara in Dubai and was honoured with Saropa by Chairman Sardar Surender Singh Kandhari. After one hour long meeting with Ambassador of India in UAE Shri. T.P. Sitharaman, OFBJP Convenor Mr. Jolly presented him a book titled “Narendra Modi The Game Changer”. BJP leader Vijay Jolly visited Anjuman Najmi mosque where he was honoured with Shawl & Sweets.

A meeting with prominent NRI businessman & Dubai Textile City Chairman Ashok R. Sawlani, billionaire GEO Group Chairman George V Nereaparambil, Chairman Fortune Group of Hotels Praveen Shetty, Bharatbhai Shah Convenor India Business Council Sharjah, Subhash Jindal HSS leader and a visit to the head office of “Khaleej Times” newspaper in Dubai were the other highlights of Dubai visit.

OFBJP UAE President Mr. Remesh T.R presided while Smt. Shilpa Nair (Gen. Secretary) conducted the program. Consulate General of USA in Dubai Mr Jon Matzner, Sister Jyothi Hulmani of Raja Yoga Center, Dubai and Wing Comdr (Retd. IAF) Rajinder Kumar Chaudhry, VSM (OFBJP President Lithuania) also attended the program.

The Dubai visit by OFBJP leader Vijay Jolly culminated with a meeting with Mr. Anurag Bhushan Consul General of India at Indian Embassy on the issue of welfare of 2.6 million Indian diaspora workers in Dubai.
