The 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards will be held on January 31, 2015 in Mumbai at the yrf studios. The highlights of the awards show will be the young and dynamic movie stars with their untamed charisma. An exclusive roster of the youngest new talents like Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor will entertain their peers and movie buffs at a glitzy and ultra glamorous evening. The fresh combination of comedian Kapil Sharma and the charming Karan Johar along with Arjun Kapoor will be hosts to a spectacular night. The kind of electric night seldom witnessed or experienced in the entertainment industry. The all time favorites Salman khan and Ranbir Kapoor will entertain their fans with their scintillating performances. Along the way, 31 talents from the film industry will be honoured for their superlative filmmaking efforts in 2014.

The nominees for these elite categories are chosen after an exhaustive voting process across multiple platforms, where movie maniacs from across the country cast their choices for their best films, actors and technicians. The votes from online, mobile and mail-in sources are then computed in an exhaustive effort to arrive at the crème de la crème of performers. The winners will be chosen from these groups of achievers after a jury of film industry professionals cast their votes.

Commenting on the 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards 2014, Mr Jitesh Pillai said, "It’s great news for Filmfare that a prestigious brand like Britannia has joined hands with it as a title sponsor. Both brands put a premium on quality and I’m sure this partnership will help us grow in the right direction. The year 2014 has been witness to some great cinematic efforts. It gives me great pleasure to reveal that the public has voted for cinematic excellence and not just followed a trend.”

Speaking about Britannia's first association with Filmfare and the Awards Mr. Ali Harris Shere, said, "Britannia has launched a large scale promotional campaign called "Britannia Khao, Filmfare Jao" to enable our consumers to have a first time ever experience of being at the Filmfare Awards Function. We believe this promotion is one of its kind and it has received an overwhelming response. The performance lineup is being announced today and will be followed soon by the nominations, so we expect a significant surge in registrations as people would love to be present at the Awards night, and root for their favorite stars".
