Couturier Asif Shah showcases at ‘Couture 2014’ fashion show

Indore (Nov. 4, 2014): Indian designer Asif Shah showcased his latest creations in Indore at the recently held 'Couture 2014' fashion show. The Couture Collection for men and women is highly inspired by intricate inlay and carvings seen on the walls and pillars of historical Indian monuments and temples that need no introduction. Depicting meticulous etching and fine artistry, this collection redefines contemporary Indian wear.

Said designer Asif Shah, "The new collection is an assortment of several styles with bright colors and rich fabrics, every outfit is indeed very classic and fashionable. Given the theme, the garments are royalty personified."

Top notch models - Shawar Ali, Zulfi Syed, Praveen Sirohi, Kapil Khadiwala,  Neha Ahuja, Ridhima Pai, Sheeva Rana & others sashayed down the ramp wearing the designer's finest comprising Indo-western gowns; draped sarees; ghararas, shararas, short kurtis and Mumtaz-style sarees inspired by the 70's era while the men looked dapper in colorful semi-formal jackets and James Bond style suits.
Media baron and successful entrepreneur, Waahiid Ali Khan said, "Asif is a dear friend and I've been wearing his designs since the last 7 years. He is a designer par excellence and his latest collection reflects his expertise."
The highlight of the show was the last segment showcasing the luxurious 'Heritage Collection' for men and women- a blend of simplicity, richness and traditional opulence.
