Pune Fashion Week: Day 1 opens with a Mesmerising Artistic Aura

Pune (Dec. 19, 2014): Pune Fashion Week gets Bigger, Better and Bolder this season. The annual fashion extravaganza is being held from December 19-21, 2014 at Ishanya, Pune.

Pune Fashion Week has arrived with a brand new look and promises a never before - luxury experience for Pune's fashion conscious-elite. It has earned massive patronage from the Fashion & Luxury industry and has successfully brought Pune on the global fashion map. It promises to arrange the best of luxury, fashion and lifestyle spectacles to compliment the rendezvous of Season 5.

The first day of Pune Fashion Week, 2014 opened with echoing applauds. The evening witnessed a galaxy of attendees from various genres - actors, socialites and designers. Talking on the occasion of PFW Season 5, Mr. Badal Saboo - Managing Director, Pune Fashion Week expresses, “It is indeed our pleasure to host the grand season 5 of Pune Fashion Week. As a property, we have evolved over the years in terms of our offering to the crème de la creme of the city. The first 4 seasons of PFW was spent building up the presence and international design exposure to our audiences. In Season 5, we are stepping up to showcase the superlatives in creativity by celebrated designers of the industry with a mesmerizing experience to cherish which is bound to be one of the history creators for the fashion scene in Pune.”

The evening marked its sartorial elegance with "Rococo goes Tropical" by Rajdeep Ranawat creating an unusual striking cocktail on the first day of Pune Fashion Week.

Followed by Amy Billimoria, unveiling a magnificient glorified collection, “Earth 21”, paying a tribute to our Mother Earth. Aditi Govitrikar walked the ramp as the show stopper for the designer.

Ulka Bafna Vohra showcased her collection ‘NIRBHEEK’, which ambitiously aims to add a tasteful softness to the powerful woman of today. Lisa Ray graced the ramp as showstopper for Ulka Bafna Vohra.

Bhairavi Jaikishan's collection based on feelings and emotions, focused on giving the wearer confidence and grace. Every ensemble revolve around a large spectrum of colors that evokes happiness and a joy for living.

The gorgeous ensembles and present exemplary designs added a striking charm to the evening.

Apart from Fashion shows, people enjoyed Arena Exhibition, Wine and Cheese Fest, Grape Stomping and much more at the splendid Season 5 of PFW.
