DSP BlackRock launches DSP BlackRock 3 Years closed ended equity fund
NFO opens on November 7, 2014 and closes on November 21, 2014
Mumbai (Nov. 8, 2014): DSP BlackRock Investment Managers Pvt Ltd, one of the premier asset management companies in India, today announced the launch of DSP Blackrock 3 Years closed ended equity fund. The Scheme endeavors to generate capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity- related securities. DSP BlackRock 3 Years Close Ended Equity Fund will be available for subscription from November 07 to November 21, 2014.
The stage is set for higher earnings growth for companies over the next few years with the macro-economic scenario in India experiencing a turnaround due to factors like narrowing fiscal and current account deficit, easing inflation (due to softer global commodity and crude oil prices), strong foreign capital flows and a stable currency. This is expected to translate into strong equity market performance. DSP BlackRock 3 Years Close Ended Equity Fund aims to invest in companies which could benefit from this turnaround.
Being a close ended fund that aims to focus on the small/mid and micro cap space, the DSP BlackRock 3 Years Close Ended Equity Fund offers flexibility to the fund manager to adopt a longer term approach and execute well researched conviction led calls to fruition. The Scheme will have a concentrated portfolio and invest primarily in the equity and equity related securities of companies and which are valued at a reasonable price. The Fund Manager will use a combination of top-down and bottom-up analysis to identify sector and stock weightages in the portfolio.
The Scheme will be managed by Vinit Sambre and Laukik Bagwe. The Scheme is benchmarked against CNX 500 Index and has two plans viz. Direct Plan & Regular Plan with both of them offering Growth and Dividend options.
