Modi govt taking credit for schemes started by UPA, says P L Punia

Barabanki (30th August, 2014): Senior Congress leader P L Punia today alleged that the Narendra Modi government was inaugurating and taking credit for schemes launched during the previous UPA regime.

Punia, who is also the Chairman of Scheduled Caste Commission, said, "Modi is going about inaugurating the schemes of UPA government and for the next one and a half years more he would be inaugurating schemes of the previous government."

"The work done on Udhampur-Katra route is one initiated by the UPA government and now the BJP is taking credit for it.. they should tell as to when this scheme was started," he said.
