India Superbike Festival riding into Pune on December 6 & 7, 2014

Pune (Dec. 03, 2014): The India Superbike Festival (ISF) is back and it is set to be more awesome than ever. Set to ride into Pune on December 6, this two-day superbike mega event will be held at the Amanora Town Centre, Pune. Last year, ISF Pune saw a record of 500 bikers flaunting a wide array of superbikes. Over two lakh visitors turned up to see the show.

This year, ISF Pune promises to break both the records, visitors as well as superbikes. Last year, there were motorcycle from everyone from Harley-Davidson to Honda, Suzuki, Ducati, BMW, Aprilia. Since then, a large number of new motorcycles have been launched in the 600cc plus class and this promises to be a dazzling show. It isn’t just the bikes either. ISF has hotly contested competitions on the center stage.

All of India’s top motorcycle riding gear and accessory manufacturers had shops selling gear and accessories. ISF Pune also hosted a mind-boggling display of vintage and classic motorcycles that drew huge crowds. And of course, the ISF also featured a supercross event with off-road bikes and their riders putting on a spectacular show. This year’s festival will also have leading bands from across the country playing on stage. Add to that a number of contests, burnouts as well as cool prizes and this year’s event promises to be a lot of fun.

With as many as 1000 big motorcycles expected to arrive, more activities, more shows, more food and most importantly, more friends to hang out with, bench race with and spend a motorcycle-fuelled weekend away from home. Aside from events, global motorcycle manufacturers will be displaying their powerful and exoticsuperbikes at the venue. Last year, Suzuki, BMW Motorrad, KTM, Aprilia and many more had display spaces. Expect the list to get longer with a number of new players entering India. There will also be an offroad track that visitors can have a go at.

The ISF has always emphasized on rider safety so expect products from global riding gears manufacturer on display. In fact, there will be an ‘expo’ showcasing accessories, spares and other motorcycle goodies. “The idea of the India Superbike Festival is to get bikers together to give them a platform to display what they own,” says Amol Talpade, one of the organisers of the festival. And when you do that, you also meet like-minded individuals and share riding experiences.
