Speaking about the theme Achyut Palav said that a decade... 10 years seems a long period when you recount it, short when you are living it. The gravity of time spent dawns on you only when you take a moment from the present & look back to re-experience it. I had such a pensive moment recently. I was glad they were amazing but not comfortable... they were thoughtful yet vibrant, disillusioning yet fulfilling, radical yet charming. What made this decade a special time in my life was due to the people I met, the lessons I learnt & the experiments I dared to do. I tried to take calligraphy beyond boundaries, both artistically & geographically. Some of the subjects made me question my beliefs or marked an era of a beautiful friendship or a tribute to those who shaped my life. There was calligraphy from scriptures & there were thoughts triggered by my experiences. These are creations that manifested from many such occasions & emotions. I wish to bring before you a collection from that decade.  To you they may be calligraphy paintings... to me they are memoirs.

Known for his unique experiments in calligraphy as well as the mediums he opts for and the tools he uses, Palav's works have been used in advertising, fashion, electronic media, interiors and architectural works, events, etc. His greatest achievement is that he has been able to establish the Achyut Palav School of Calligraphy that is located in Vashi. He also published a book titled The World of Calligraphy in 2013  that is a compilation of the work of his students and features unique ideas ofcalligraphy that have been shown in his workshops. Calligraphy continues to flourish in religious art, graphic designs, cut stone inscriptions and memorial documents.  Having studied at Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai Achyut Pallav has Research Scholarship from Ulka Advertising for thesis on Modi script (15th to 17th Century) to his credit .

Rashmi Tapadia, founder and owner of LetArtWork Gallery  said that we the basic aim behind starting this gallery was to encourage young artists not just through space which itself is a master piece of art with a big canvas of sky but also various interactive events. All through the year we came up with some innovative experiments including  exhibition on indigenous work of 15 Masters of Art, YUVA, One INDIA , "GOD" exhibiting best art from London which was covered by Huffington Post UK , Steve Perfect’s “ from darkness to light” curated by Rekha Sameer and many more events . Achyut Palav will be a lifetime experience for people and artists who want to see his mesmerizing work of art .She added that Letartwork through the ‘Khoj Tapadia Art and Culture Foundation’ has been socially active by giving impetus and platform to young talents.
