USA Singer Krishna Das to meet Dada JP Vaswani; LIVE Performance at Pune


Pune (Jan. 12, 2015): Well known singer from USA, Grammy Award Nominee KRISHNA DAS will be specially visiting Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani in Pune on January 14, 2015.

Krishna Das is on a tour of India, known as the ‘Krishna Das Kirtan Wallah Tour India’ with his kirtan concerts being held at Mumbai, Bangalore, New Delhi and Rishikesh. He will take time out to specially visit Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani in Pune.

He will also give a LIVE performance in the evening on the sacred occasion of Sadhu Vaswani’s 49th Mahayagna (Anniversary) at 6.45 pm in Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune. Usually tickets for his LIVE performances go for hundreds of rupees. This event at Pune is free and open to the public.

Sadhu Vaswani Mission is organizing events on the occasion of the 49th Mahayagna (Anniversary) of its founder, Sadhu Vaswani. On January 16, 1966, Sadhu Vaswani’s life came to a close in the city of Pune. A saint and a sage, a rishi and a sufi, a scholar and an orator, a poet and a preacher, a philosopher and a philanthropist, an educationist and a writer had breathed his last. The ashes of Sadhu Vaswani are enshrined in the sacred Samadhi (Shrine) in the campus of Sadhu Vaswani Mission, which visited by hundreds of pilgrims daily. The renowned Darshan Museum, based on his life and teachings, is located in the same campus.
