Excellence Group Achieves Milestone for Dhyas Social Foundation, Celebrates 6 Successful Years of Giving Back To the Society

Pune (Nov. 27, 2014): Excellence Group, one of India’s leading business conglomerate, Tuesday celebrated six successful years of its flagship Corporate Social Responsibility wing Excellence Dhyas Foundation which has been tirelessly working towards transforming lives of millions of individuals by creating a social enterprise. To commemorate the occasion, this foundation announced their annual Excellence Dhyas Awards,LEAP Innovation Awards& Lifetime Achievement Awardto felicitate the remarkable work done in the field of social responsibility and innovative business ideas.

While Excellence Dhyas Foundation is a token of appreciation to recognize those extraordinary Non-Profit organizations that have inspired others with their vision, social awareness, community building activities and achievements, LEAP Innovation Award is to identify and award start-ups or entrepreneurs who have the most promising business idea. TheDhyas Life Time Achievement Award 2014 is being awarded to Dr. Prakash Amte for his selfless services and dedication towards the betterment of the tribal community.

Speaking on the occasion, DrNareshBharde, Chairman & Managing Director at Excellence Group, said “We are elated to announce the sixth anniversary of our social wing- Excellence Dhyas Foundation. Dhyas Social Foundation is networked with more than 200 NGOs from all over Maharashtra actively working with them and encouraging them by awarding them for their dedication and achievements. The NGOs are awarded within 3 major categories that include Education, Health and Women empowerment. TheLEAP Innovation award winners are supported through funding and required mentoring to help give shape to their vision for their ventures.

National Award winning Marathi actor, Atul Kulkarni, who also happens to be the brand ambassador of the Excellence Group, made a special appearance along with actress Priya Bapat during the event. Their latest movie, ‘Happy Journey’ was adapted as the theme of the celebration highlighting the journey of 6 glorious years that the Excellence Group has been through.

We feel rather hopeful to know there are many others who are working towards this cause. We have a vision and a lot we wish to do for the society.
