4th Gun for Glory Shooting Championship

Pune (Jan. 22,m 2015): The 4th Gun for Glory Shooting Championship ended with a lot of excitement with the finals of the Challenger’s cup that was played at the Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mhalunge – Balewadi.

In the Grand Finale of Challenger’s Cup Akhil Sheoran (UP) beat Ayonika Paul (Rail) in the Rifle event and Rajendra Bagul (Mah) beat Annu Raj Singh (AI) in the Pistol event. Both the winners received 1kg silver each apart from other gift coupons from HUB and Capapie.

In 10m Rifle (NR) Men & Women (including Senior, Junior & Youth) category, which ended today, 72 shooters have qualified for the Nationals and in 10m Pistol (NR) Men & Women (including Senior, Junior & Youth) category, 33 shooters have qualified for the Nationals.

In the Corporate event, Sujeet Ghare, 19 years old resident of Pirangut won the title to receive a brand new Honda Dream Neo bike apart from other gifts like, Nike T-shirt, gift coupons from HUB and Capapie and sunglasses from Oakley.

In the School event category, which received entries from all over Pune three Schools received prizes in the team events. The First position went to the team of Jnana Prabhodhini Navnagar Vidyalay which received an AR 20 Rifle (by Walther). The Runners-up team of St. Vincent’s High School received three Precihole Air Rifles and the second runners-up team of Indus International School received two Precihole Air Rilfes.​
