New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid homage to Nobel laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore on his 155th birth anniversary.
“I bow to Gurudev Tagore on his birth anniversary. He was a versatile personality whose profound thoughts and writings continue to inspire,” Modi tweeted.
Tagore, who received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913 was born on May 7, 1861. He died on August 7, 1941.
