The Orchid Hotel has always been at the top of its game when it comes to eco-friendly methods of operations. Being a pioneer and the only 5-star hotel in the city with the accolade ‘ECOTEL’, the hotel extends the message of a pollution-free Diwali to all members of the society surrounding the property.
According to the environmental policies formulated by The Orchid Hotel, through a given set of practices this season they aim at creating awareness on the diverse ill-effects caused by fire-crackers. Standing firm on their notion, the management at the Hotel organized a silent rally starting from The Orchid Hotel to Balewadi High Street and Baner. This route was fixed keeping in mind the number of residential societies in the vicinity and the thereby resulting impact it would garner. The walk comprised a series of posters that included images and slogans urging viewers on their path to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali.
Standing true to its title ‘ECOTEL’, The Orchid Hotel, earlier this year actively took part in the World Environment Day celebrations and organized an awareness drive where 100 saplings were planted, placards raised and a rally was held.
As per the vision shared by the CEO Mr. Vishal Kamat, and the General Manager Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, The Orchid believes that all are one, separated by brands & companies and can surely work towards the common goal of creating a sustainable environment.
