Wisdom World School, Pune has been ranked 5th in the country based on the ICSE 2016 results, amongst the 2017 schools that appeared this year. This impressive performance was with 100% results, only in its second year of appearing for the ICSE examinations. The ranking is based on the result of batch average of schools achieving 80% and above.
Wisdom World School achieved a phenomenal batch average of 92.8%, thus ranking ranked 1st in Pune and 3rd in Maharashtra. The school’s topper was Jaanvi Jhamtani scoring 97.6%.
Of the 47 candidates sent up for the ICSE exam this year, 38 students scored 90%and above. The lowest percentage was 82.5 %. That means 81% of the batch scored above 90%.
Other interesting facts recorded in this wonderful result, was the fact that 5 students achieved 100 marks, 5 achieved 99 marks and overall 39 of the 45 achieved above 95 marks in commercial studies which is taught by the Director and Principal of Wisdom World School herself, the national award winning teacher, Ms. Jessica Simoes.
This result is a testimony of the sheer hard work of the students, dedication of the teachers and the passion and educational expertise of the leadership of the principal and the infinite support and commitment of the Vishwakarma Purple Educational Trust.
