The group donates bathroom fittings for a school catering to 3000 slum children
Mumbai, July 13, 2017: Roca Bathroom Products Pvt Ltd., India’s leading bathroom products manufacturer and a socially responsible corporate, has recently completed a toilet renovation project for Lokmanya Tilak School in Mumbai. As a part of this initiative, Roca collaborated with The Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast and Lokmanya Siksha Sansthan, the charitable trust to provide better sanitation facilities to more than 3,000 kids enrolled in the school located in slums of Saki Naka, Andheri (E), Mumbai.
The initiative is a part of Roca’s corporate social responsibility plan (CSR) and emphasizes on the need for providing adequate sanitation facilities across the country. The project started on June 15, 2017 and was completed within 15 days after the complete renovation of 12 toilets in the school. As a part of the initiative, the group donated a complete range of products required for the project including faucets, valves, WCs, toilet seats, sinks etc. As a part of remodelling the school’s bathroom infrastructure, Parryware’s coloured bathroom fittings have also been installed to provide a brighter and more joyous ambience for the school kids.
