To mark its 25th year, Symbiosis Sports Centre (SSC) is organizing an award ceremony ‘Symbiosis Adarsh Krida Sanstha Award’ on February 22, 2018 at 4pm at Symbiosis Vishwabhavan Auditorium, SB Road.
Shri Sharad Pawar, Former- Minister of Agriculture, Government of India will be the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries who will be present are Girish Bapat, Pune Guardian Minister and Mukta Tilak, Mayor of Pune. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Founder and President, Symbiosis will preside over the function
The award will be presented to five prominent sports centres in Pune-

Nav Maharashtra Sangh
Dajisaheb Natu Badmintion Promotion Foundation
Sakhlipir Talim Rashtriya Maruti Mandir
Also, India’s first Paralympics gold medalist, Pune’s Murlikant Petkar who was conferred recently, with ‘Padma Shri’ will be felicitated.
SSC was established with the sole purpose to encourage children below 14 years to actively participate in sports like table-tennis, chess, badminton and skating amongst others. Over the years, the centre has organized a number of tournaments and competitions alongwith sports related educational lectures delivered by stalwarts from the industry.
