Pune Automotive Racing Association and Social Activities (PARASA) which is headed by Pune’s first Female Biker, Reshma Lalwani has organized Sinhgad hill climb racing event which will be on 19th March. It will be the first racing event at Sinhgad after year 1996. There are three catagories in the competition. Men and Women age 18 and above can participate in the racing event. There is an other section for the people above 55 years.
The racing event will start at 6.30 a.m. from Golewadi Toll Plaza and will be finished around 10 a.m. at the Tulai Garden. The distance between starting point to finishing point is 4.5 km. Bikes from 100cc to 350cc are allowed to compete. The Marshalls will be appointed all over the venue to take the complete care of the participents. Three Ambulances and medical support will be arranged by the organisers and fire brigade will also be stationed at the venue and on route.Prize distribution ceremony will be held after the competition. Participation Certificate will be given to each participant and Shields, Certificates and Cash Prizes will be given to the winners in each category.
