ESPN, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Networks, presents ESPN Films, a series of documentary films showcasing the most compelling and original sports stories. From Emmy award winner Eric Drath of the ‘Assault in the Ring’ fame, comes the film ‘No Mas’ a film that endeavors to answer an intriguing question that has long shadowed boxing fans – what made Roberto Duran throw in the towel in the second of his legendary clashes with Sugar Ray Leonard? Along with this mystery, the film captivatingly brings that era to life where boxing bouts among stalwarts had the power to bring the world to a gripping stop.
ESPN Films is a series that discovers themes beyond sports. The series aims to reform the art of the sports documentary in collaboration with a diverse range of prolific filmmakers. The documentaries consist of varied stories from the world of sports highlighting athletes, events and intersections with society at large.
