Symbiosis Institute of Technology, in association with Leadingindia.ai organized a 3 day workshop (13 -15 June) on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning’ to collaboratively undertake a nation-wide initiative of equipping faculty members and students with the industry-driven artificial intelligence and deep-learning tools; to cater solutions to problems of social relevance like health care, agriculture, society, social-media analytics and many more.
The project is supported by Royal Academy of Engineers, UK, Amazon Web services, edX, AICTE, Brunel University – UK, NVIDIA and others. The initiative boosted by AICTE aims to establish the synergistic relationship with leaders of industry, academia all over the nation. 100 participants all over India from around 35 institutions from in and out of Maharashtra marked their presence in the workshop.
The initiative is a first of its kind which aims to train and support collaborated research groups working in different critical areas to solve some of the pressing problems in society.
