Pune witnessed a never seen before concept event with the introduction of ‘The Collective Project’. This event was conceptualized by Damini Oberoi of Q Events in association with Apeksha Shah and Tejal Kothari of The Dress Rehearsal. The night was presented by Vinay Aranha of The Rosary Schools. The Collective Project is a collaboration of professionals from various fields, with an idea of creating platforms for upcoming businesses to be able to display their work to a niche audience. For the first time in Pune, a warehouse that has been shut for 20 years has been chosen as the venue. Raja Bahadur Mills saw the crème-de-la-crème of pune enjoying the mesmerizing night including Manisha and Shravan Agarwal, Shachi and Piyush Munot, Ashish and Amrita Chowdhary, Ricky Rajpal, Neerav and Kinnary Panchamia, Satyajeet Naik, Umang Pittie, Sheetal Kalyani and Pooja and Roshan Talera. This was an experience show which combined glamorous decor, fashion and entertainment in an unorthodox ambience set-up.Raja Bahadur mills was entirely altered into a dreamy venue with floral decors and a beautiful setup by Q Events, leaving the guests wondering whether this mill was actually shut for the last 20 years
There were three fashion sequences with Indian and Fusion couture which was by presented The Dress Rehearsal. . In the menswear fashion sequence there were influential personalities from the Pune social circuit like Nikhil Agarwal, Tejpal Gandhi, Kunal Mhaske, Yash Munot, Mohammad Musavi, Aditya Shetty, Dhruv Chaudhri, Sandy Singh, Ali Haji, Priyadarshan Dumbre, Akansh Shah, Apoorva Michigan and Alejandro Arch walking the ramp. The glamour night was hosted by renowned Indian singer, song writer and actress, Manasi Scott.
Speaking about the project, Damini Oberoi said, “We have been planning this concept since a while where like-mindedentrepreneurs can come together to display their work and grow together at the same time. We even sent across invites to our guests in the shape of a warehouse, which once you open, has a beautifully done invite inside.”
Apeksha Shah of the Dress Rehearsal said, “Having such concepts helps to break from the clutter of regular events, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. I am very happy with the efforts put together by the entire team and the feedback marvelous feedback we have received from our guests. I look forward for many more concept like these.”
The audience was completely mesmerized with a sequence of flair bartending by Flair-O-Logy. Stego also launched their luxury travel bags at the show. There was a boomerang photobooth setup at the venue, a wedding corner set up by Nakoda Silver. The Collective project looks forward to mesmerizing Pune with many more such concepts in the future. On the eve of World Environment Day, it was our pleasure to host this event in a dilapidated warehouse.
