Dallas: The Westin Dallas Downtown, a Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. managed Westin hotel, announces it will open late this December in the “One Main Place” complex in downtown Dallas. The hotel will begin accepting reservations in early January 2016.
Located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Dallas, the full-service Westin Dallas Downtown is part of the mixed-used “One Main” development in the central business district.
Occupying 13 of the building’s 34 floors, the Westin Dallas Downtown features 326 luxurious guest rooms, including 98 junior suites, 27 suites and a two-story penthouse. All guest rooms include High Speed Internet Access, complimentary coffee, the Heavenly® Bed, and the Heavenly® Bath. Additionally, the property offers 20 flexible function venues – including a 32nd floor ballroom and a plaza-level glass enclosed pavilion – totaling more than 31,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
Additional amenities include a 32nd floor WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio featuring state-of-the-art equipment and the WestinWORKOUT® Gear Lending Program, and a heated indoor pool on the 32nd floor – the highest indoor pool in Dallas – that is distinguished by a fireplace and lofty window-framed views of the Dallas skyline.
The Westin Dallas Downtown provides numerous dining options for its guests and locals alike. Grill & Vine, Westin’s signature full-service restaurant, is an upscale and inviting American bar and grill that serves simple, fresh regional cuisine. Executive Chef Bill Lundstrom will offer guests all-day menus featuring traditional favorites with a modern twist. Both Grill & Vine and the contemporary Grill & Vine Lobby Bar will feature a wide selection of handcrafted cocktails and a considerable wine program. Additionally the hotel will house NOLA Brassiere, a New Orleans-inspired restaurant with a balanced blend of American and Creole favorites featuring outdoor seating and a full bar, and Café Strada, a European-inspired coffee café serving Lavazza coffee, handmade pastries, sandwiches and gelato.
The property features a dedicated hotel entrance parallel to Elm Street and a second floor hotel lobby. The third floor of The Westin Dallas Downtown is primarily dedicated to conference space and equipped with the latest in meeting technology. The Westin Dallas Downtown is located within close proximity to hundreds of local corporate offices, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Klyde Warren Park, the Dallas Arts District and the American Airlines Center.
