The awards results are collated through extensive questionnaires conducted by the Conde Nast Traveler and are judged across 25 categories of nominations and various criteria.

The Readers’ Choice Awards were announced by Condé Nast Traveller, USA. These awards are derived from the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Survey, the largest independent poll of consumers’ preferences in the US. More than 300,000 travellers took part in this year’s annual Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards survey worldwide. This is the 29th edition of the awards and entries included both newcomers and stalwarts from around the world. The awards took more than 7,394 hotels and resorts, 606 cities, 500 cruise ships and 236 islands into consideration.
