Pune, November 30: Renowned Bharatnatyam Danseuse Dr. Sucheta Bhide Chapekar will be entering her 68th year shortly. A dance evening has been organized on this occasion by her disciples to pay her a tribute. Titled as ‘Parisphuran’ this program will be organized by ‘Kalavardhini Charitable Trust’ on Tuesday, December 6th at 6.00pm at Balshikshan Auditorium, Mayur Colony, Pune. The program will be free and open for all. Few seats will be reserved only for invitees.
Suchetaji’s students Bhagyashree Deo, Rucha Athavale, Deoshree Athalye, Malavika Pavitran, Ujwal Gadgil and Mugdha Joshi will be presenting beautiful Bharatnatyam performances based on the tales of Kartikeya on this evening. It will be followed by the small launch ceremony of Kalavardhini Charitable Trust’s Website.
The objective behind this program is to express the student’s gratitude towards their beloved Guru Sucheta Tai for all the motivation, support, encouragement and guidance they have received from her throughout.
‘Kalavardhini Charitable Trust’ is a Pune Based organization which primarily works in the field of performing and allied Indian arts.
