Pune: Amit Enterprises Housing Ltd (AEHL), city’s leading real estate developer known for its work in housing for middle and higher income group is now foraying in the affordable housing segment. An announcement to this effect was made by Kishor Pate, Chairman & Managing Director, AEHL during a Press Meet held in the city today. Sanjiv Pate and Rohan Pate, Directors of AEHL was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Kishor Pate said, “There is definitely a need for good quality affordable housing in urban India and it is really very difficult to create affordable housing in the given situation considering the overall market situation and government policies. However, we wish to do our own bit to fill this need gap.”
“Our first affordable housing project would be the Phase 2 of ‘Colori’, one of our most popular projects near Bishops School in Undri. The homes that are being offered here are affordable only from the price point of view. These are smartly designed homes of optimum sizes and would come with the same top class construction quality of AEHL”, he added.
Colori Phase 2 will have 1 BHK (528 sq ft), 1.5 BHK (663 sq ft) and 2 BHK (774 sq ft) flats with all inclusive pricing as 27 Lac, 33 Lac and 38 Lac respectively. All amenities at ‘Colori’ including club house, swimming pool, library, play area for children, beautiful landscaping, a multipurpose hall and solar water heaters are ready and functional. This Phase 2 of ‘Colori’ has total 278 housing units.
While describing some of the advantages of Undri as a location Rohan Pate said, “Undri has emerged as one of the most sought-after residential destinations in Pune. The area has developed rapidly and has become the logical alternative after the almost saturated NIBM Road. The revival of demand from the city’s manufacturing and IT sectors is one of the main reasons why AEHL is now concentrating on this area.”
Undri offers a number of location advantages, including proximity to NIBM Road, Wanowrie and Pune Camp. It is well connected to various key localities in Pune. It also has dense green cover protected by Government regulations.
AEHL has lined up 5 projects for launch in the next 6 months that include locations like Sahakar Nagar, Ambegaon, Punawale and Aundh in Pune along with a premium residential project at one of the most upmarket localities of Mumbai. It already has a huge township of 2000 plus homes under construction in Nashik. The company has plans to construct over 7000 plus homes in the next 5 years that involves construction of over 8 million square feet.
