Registers an impressive 56% growth over last year
NTSE is a national level scholarship program to identify and nurture talented students for pursuing courses in sciences and social sciences as well as professional courses like medicine and engineering
PUNE: 347 students from Aakash Institute, the national leader in test preparation services, have qualified in the NTSE (Stage-I) 2020 up till now, a feat that speaks volumes of the Institute’s curriculum, training, and faculty. This is an impressive increase from last year when 222 students from Aakash had qualified NTSE Stage-I, a rise of 56%, registering one of the highest growths in the test preparation sector in the country for NTSE.
The Aakashians who have qualified in the NTSE (Stage -I) 2020 from Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Kerala, and Andaman & Nicobar are as follows:
- 280 students have qualified from the Classroom Program
- 31 students have qualified from the Distance Learning Program
- 36 students have qualified from Aakash Digital

The NTSE scholarship under the present scheme is awarded to candidates for pursuing courses in science and social science up to doctoral level, and in professional courses like medicine and engineering up to second-degree level. Under NTSE, 2,000 scholarships are awarded in the country every year. Identification of talent comprises a two-stage selection process. While the individual State/UT conducts the first stage selection, the second stage selection at the national level is carried out by the NCERT.
